Ask How

If you run into a problem or need instructions on this blog, leave a comment on this page and I will do my best to answer you.

How to Comment

You do not have to register to leave a comment, and once you leave a comment WordPress will remember your input (via cookies). If you would like to be a registered user, look down the right column for the Meta section and click Register.

Access User Profile (registered users)

Float your mouse in the upper right hand corner of your screen (by your user name). A drop menu will give you the option to ”Edit My Profile”.

Link to User Profile (registered users)

If you add a website under “Contact Info” in your user profile (ie. Facebook page/MySpace/Twitter) and click “Update user” at the bottom of your user page, anyone who clicks on your user name in the comment sections will be directed there.

Upload Photo (registered users)

Towards the bottom of your user profile, under “User Photo”, there is an option to ”Upload image file”. Click browse to search your computer for the image you want to use. Once selected, click “Update user” at the bottom of the page. All your posted comments (beginning from the time you registered) will include the thumbnail image you uploaded.

Captcha’s (human verificaton) only appear with un-registered users.

Questions

I just submitted a comment, why hasn’t it shown up?

Comments are sent for approval before they are published for new users. If you are a registered user and your comments have been previously approved, make sure you sign in first for instant submittal.

I’m not able to reply to a comment, the reply button is gone.

The thread has been exhausted by the size of an image that can be displayed. Each reply to a comment within the thread generates a smaller image. Start a new thread off the main comment or scroll to the next comment above with the reply tab and make your reply there.
